FAQ

How do I enable live location sharing?

In the app, go to Settings > Safety and enable Live Location Sharing. If iOS permission is denied, open iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services and enable access for the app.

How do Safe Zones work?

Parents can draw safe areas on the map. Kids can see this safe zone on their map. If the kid wishes to generate a route, it must be within the specified safe zone. The kid will also see a status chip indicating if they are inside or outside a safe zone.

How do I report a "No Candy" house?

A parent can mark their own home as being "Out of Candy" from within the profile tab. The person toggling this must be at their home address for this to be allowed. Any kid whose route includes the marked home will be shown a marker on the map indicating no candy.

How do I delete my data?

Open the profile tab and navigate to the settings sheet, at the bottom you will see a "Delete My Account" button, or email us at TrickOrTreat.AppInfo@gmail.com from the email associated with your account. We will guide you through account and data deletion.
